New Mexico, 2019

New Mexican Pueblo elder sharing Native people’s desire to better Spain, then Mexico, then U.S. as each country consecutively took over possession of their land.  Hard for youth to believe after learning of the atrocities that all 3 countries perpetrated on Native peoples.  A shocking depth of GRACE.  Then Center For Action & Contemplation’s encouragement to balance advocacy action with prayer & meditation... learning how to lean into the grace that Native peoples live
