We, the faith community of Creator Lutheran Church, gratefully remember the ancestors and survivors of Clackamas County - specifically the Clackamas, Kalapuyan, Upper Chinookan and Molallan Tribes, who created communities honoring the land and waterways. Following their Tribal traditions they carefully maintained and harvested the plentiful natural resources of our area. We recognize the sustainable pracitces they used in sacred relationship with the land before settlers arrived. We respect and honor their legacy and descendants who carry on their traditions for present and future generations. |

![]() Changing Church for a Changing World
Creator Lutheran members are faithful, yet changing to better meet what it means to be Christian today. In recognition of the upcoming 505th Anniversary of the Reformation, there is a new group that is reaching out to engage with others about current ELCA concerns, named Reformation 2022 The Movement. There are Creator members who are on the Oregon Synod Reparations Team for two years now, exploring and expanding what the synod calls our wild web of relationships. The reformers in #reformation2022 are grounded in scripture and other faith practices. Many.have opened my eyes to injustice that need to be addressed. I am constantly challenged to ask how the church can become more aligned with God. Please join me and fellow reformers to tackle this work and sign up for a work group here. Quick Links
