We believe that Jesus Christ came to reveal the fullness of God's love for us. We celebrate that love through praise, sacraments, music, service, and aspiring to be a totally inclusive community.
Our worship is at heart of who we are. The Creator congregation believes that in all our actions and in our presence in the world we can show we are one part of the body of Christ
Our church offers a wide range of ministries and opportunities to connect. Whether you'd like to learn more, pray more, sing more, or serve more, there is a ministry for you. Use the items under the We're Involved menu item above for details of how we are involved in our community, together with our partners, and in the world.
Creator currently worships virtually. Our building remains closed by COVID restrictions.

Oregon Synod is learning about ‘Land Stories’ in Reckoning with Racism
Several Creator members are connecting with Reckoning with Racism, a learning project within Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon. We are part of the Oregon Synod, ELCA group, which is one of 44 Faith groups, focusing on learning & sharing our 'Land Stories’. We’re exploring the stories of the Land of Oregon, of our churches and of our own families. Which Native Tribes were on the land of our church and our own families homes? What are the stories of our own ancestors settling in these places? Which stories are known and which are less known?
If you’d like to join these ongoing RwR conversations, let one of us know!
Come gather virtually with our neighboring ELCA churches for learning and discussion
Friday Evening, April 30, 6:30 pm-8:00 pm

The Transition Team is seeking volunteers who would be interested in videotaping themselves doing a short recitation (2-3 sentences) of an address of gratitude. These videos would be combined into a group reading that would be used at our next Zoom Transition Team meeting.
If you are interested please contact Mary Steinberg 503-806-9498.
Thank you for your Mission Support from Bishop Laurie
Dear Partner in the love of Christ,
I have been tremendously inspired by you and the people you serve, and would like to thank your congregation personally for your generosity in these stressful pandemic times. Giving is not easy, and giving in uncertain times even less so!
Below is a 1.5 minute video made to be shared with your congregation, ideally during your Sunday online services. Please consider sharing at some point in your services this Sunday or next Sunday if possible. If that's not achievable, including it in an emailed newsletter would be a gift.
Thank you for all the ways you serve God and the world which God so loves,
Thank You Video
Rent Relief for our Local Madres' Families
Our families from Lot Whitcomb Elementary rarely reach out, but they are under an incredible load of stress they are carrying and trying to hide from their children.
Recent storms and less of what little work the Madres families were finding in service and outdoor industries, loss of food with power outages, stress of falling behind for families with kids unable to access school without power, apartments charging extra for ‘late’ payments (perhaps unlawfully)- can feel overwhelming for many of these families.
If you or your friends or family are able, helping with their rent relief seems to be the biggest relief we can provide these families. Even with ‘eviction moratoriums’ in place, landlord are finding ways to pressure, the requirements for extensions are cumbersome, and families will at some point be held liable for unpaid amounts.
To donate click link here, or you can send a check noting ‘Household Expense / Rent Relief’ on the check and envelop to: Creator Lutheran, 13250 SE Sunnyside Ave, Clackamas OR 97015.

Creator Lutheran Church welcomes you to come – as you are, where you are, and who you are – and join us in worship, fellowship, and ministry. The Gospel reveals God's astounding grace as an unconditional gift of love for all people, so ethnicity, socioeconomic status, physical or mental ability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or marital status are not barriers to our invitation. Instead, as an inclusive community grounded in God's love and following Jesus' example, we celebrate the diversity of God's creation.
