Pastor Dayle was called to Creator in January 1999. Ordained in 1996, her first call was to Advent Lutheran Church in Troutdale. In 1995 she received a M.Div from Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN. She received a B.A. in Pastoral Ministries from Marylhurst College in 1991. Pastor Dayle is a “second career” pastor. Prior to ordained ministry she served as Director of Christian Education at Trinity Lutheran Church in Gresham.

In 1996 Pastor Dayle married Peter Overvold and together they have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Her passions for ministry include preaching and worship. She especially enjoys creating inviting worship environments during the liturgical seasons. At Creator we are blessed to have many children in worship and she loves being creative with children’s sermons.

In her spare time she enjoys all kinds of beading and creating memory books with Photoshop.

David Lee is a well-known performer in the Portland music scene. He performs at the Portland City Grill and the Heathman Lodge among other venues. He has recently released a CD. When not coaxing the best out of the choir, tickling ivories, or strumming strings, Kelly is principal of Milwaukie High School.
