Outreach
Information on Creator's outreach ministry programs can be found here.
Worship Services
Join us for worship each Sunday! Creator has one service every Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. A few minutes before worship we gather together for fellowship with music led by musicians David Lee, Kelly Carlisle, and Gary Schulstad. Nursery care is available during worship. All children are encouraged to participate with the congregation in full worship. Services are followed by coffee, tea, and fellowship. All are welcome!

Worship Volunteering
Worship service can't happen without the help of dedicated voluteers. If you can help out, contact our volunteer coordinator, Toni Hartung.
Check out the current volunteer schedule. Training for all volunteer positions is available. Volunteering is very rewarding!
Choir
Do you have a voice? Come out and join the choir. Led by Kelly Carlisle, the choir practices on Wednesday evenings from September through May. Music is a big part of worship at Creator!
Sunday Education
The Sunday morning education hour is full of life! Our curriculum, called "Seasons of the Spirit," is used to lead the way for ages Pre-K through adult. The education hour is held each Sunday from 9:15 - 10:00 (between the services). A men's group, adult ed, coffee, and fellowship are also available during this time.
Lectionary Bible Studies
In addition to Sunday education, a lectionary study on Bible lessons for the upcoming Sunday is held at the home of Larry and Linda Sink every Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. It precedes the Piecemakers evening of quilting.
Confirmation
Our Confirmation Program for all 7th and 8th graders is held Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 7:30 (except during Advent and Lent). It's a time to explore the Lutheran faith, and build relationships with one another. It is a time of fellowship, a time to be together with peers through devotion, Bible study, games, laughter, music, skits, servant projects, and more. Youth are also encouraged to attend Confirmation Camp.
More information on youth and family ministry can be found on the family page.
Baptism
In baptism God comes to us in water. In baptism we die with Christ, the old self is drowned in the water, and we are resurrected with Christ. Our life is made new; we are reborn in the water. In baptism we are marked with the cross of Christ forever and our identity becomes "Christian."
Lutherans baptize people of all ages. To arrange a baptism, contact the church office at office@creatorlutheran.org.
Weddings
The marriage rite is a service of worship. The community gathers with joy and gratitude for the goodness of all of creation. The congregation gathered at the wedding represents the presence and support of the whole church for the couple. The pastor of the congregation presides at all weddings at Creator unless another ELCA pastor will be present.
Answers to Wedding FAQs:
Sancutary seating: Maximum seating for a wedding is 180 persons.
Pre-marriage counseling: Pr. Dayle meets with the couple several times before the wedding for pre-marriage counseling.
Music: Creator musicians are happy to play at weddings; check with the pastor for fees. Appropriate music enhances the mood of the day and supports the rite.
Wedding Coordinator: Sharilyn Brooks will assist with weddings at Creator; check with the pastor for fees.
Receptions: Maximum capacity for the fellowship hall is 120 persons. No alcohol. No smoking.
If you are planning a wedding at Creator, please coordinate dates with the pastor well in advance. Yes, Pr. Dayle will do weddings in other locations; she especially likes Hawaii!
A complete brochure on weddings is available in the church office. This includes fees where appropriate.
Funerals
The service, called "The Burial of the Dead," usually takes place in the church where the baptismal font is in a place where all present can remember that in baptism we are embraced by God and promised new life. The community gathers at this time to commend the one who has died to God's eternal care. The community gathers also to comfort the bereaved and support them, and to assure the grieving that the power of the living God is transformative at this moment. The communitye gathers to praise our God who destroys death and brings us to new life. We are baptized into Christ's death and promised a resurrection like his. This is our hope, our prayer, our foundation.
After the service in the church, the congregation gathered may proceed to the burial site for committal.
Many times there is a reception following a funeral. This is a time to tell the stories and remember the person who has died.
Sometimes people who are "planners" want input into their future funeral. If you'd like to pre-plan your service, pick music in advance, or just talk about what a funeral is, call Pr. Dayle.
