Fellowship Opportunities
Piecemakers
Creator's quilting group meets at 7:30 Tuesday evenings at the home of Larry and Linda Sink. All are
welcome to come. No experience necessary. (Come half and hour early for a brief lectionary-based
Bible study.)
Blessings Auction
A great fellowship event. You can donate items to the auction and come to enjoy this progressive
auction event - both silent and live. The cost ($20) covers your entry to the auction and a souvenir.
The Blessings Auction for 2007 will be held on October 20.
Dinner Groups
Here's a terrific way to meet new people in a small group setting. All are invited and welcome to
join one of several dinner groups. Re-group dinners occur every five months or so, giving people the
opportunity to "mix it up" and meet new people. If you are not currently in a dinner group, re-group
potlucks are an opportunity to "join in" and be involved in one.
Creator Golf Scramble
Rain or shine, this "happening" every September is a great family event. Even if you only golf once
a year, it's still fun. Following the scramble is a delicious BBQ and potluck back at
Creator with prizes and raffles. The golf scramble is also a fund-raiser.
Harvest Festival
The Wednesday before Halloween is the evening for this playful event! Bring your costume and your
entire family for an evening of chili, games, treats, and fun for all ages.
Progressive Dinner
Don't miss this grand evening of food, wine and sodas, fellowship and laughter. Appetizers (potluck)
are served at one home; the main meal (potluck) is at another home; then it's back to Creator for
dessert (potluck) and a white elephant exchange! This event (just for adults) kicks off the holiday
season!
Mardi Gras, a.k.a "Fat Tuesday"
Mardi Gras is the evening before Ash Wednesday and precedes the Lenten season. With lots of chocolate
and entertainment, this is another jovial evening for the entire family. Wear a mask and beads to
this one.
Outdoor Worship
Bring your lawn chairs or a blanket and worship outdoors with God's creation as our backdrop. The next
outdoor worship will be held in August, 2008.
Creator Cruise
This summertime trip through the San Juan Islands offers fellowship in a setting like no other.
Space is limited and fills quickly. Contact Sharilyn Brooks for more information.
Advice

Why take advice from teenage girls? Because they're right and you're wrong. Just ask them!
Uh... Marlowe?: All my BFFs are going on a road trip to Cabo and my lame-o parents won't let me go! My summer is, like, totally wrecked! If I have to go with them to another stupid "Renaissance Faire" I'm gonna, like, throw up! What can I do to make my summer, like, not suck?
~Nothing To Do in Milwaukie
Hey Nothing To Do: OH NO THEY DI-INT! Hey, look, sorry your parents are lacking in the fun department, but don't worry. We've got you covered.
Here at Creator we're having a lot of activities this summer. For instance, Day Camp starts June 25th for kids Kindergarten to 6th Grade (And if you're older than that you can volunteer to help out, like me.) We pretty much have a big group of kids and do games, crafts, and just general fun.
And for the Highschoolers there's going to be a rafting trip on July 19th, not to mention kayaking and the family camping trip in August.
So don't worry, there's other things to do this summer besides jousting. You can check out some details on the events in the Family section on this site.
And you won't have to worry about getting a bad burrito in Cabo.
